The Flytrap isn’t a stripped-down version of the flagship Kyrie signature; it’s a purpose-built performance shoe that addresses the specific needs of court play: responsive cushioning under the forefoot, a secure lockdown fit, multidirectional traction, and a mid-top construction that supports the ankle without restricting the explosive lateral movement that defines Kyrie’s playing style. The EP (Extra Performance) version adds a reinforced upper structure and a modified outsole compound for harder court surfaces and wider foot profiles.

Cushioning

• Forefoot Zoom Air unit — a pressurized Air bladder positioned directly under the ball of the foot, where impact forces are highest during cuts, jumps, and lateral pivots.
